Welcome to Peninsula Rifle & Pistol Club in Port Angeles, WA!
Our club encourages organized rifle and pistol shooting with a focus on providing better knowledge regarding the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship, for the purpose of enhancing public safety. We promote and sponsor educational programs for young people, teaching firearms safety, encouraging responsible gun handling and sponsoring marksmanship competitions for youth participation.
We promote, organize and sponsor amateur athletic competition in the shooting sports, including participation at the National level. And promote the development of characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, which we believe are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
NOTE CALIBER RESTRICTIONS:
Allowed: Any rimfire rifle, any pistol caliber with muzzle energy equal to or less than .45acp.
Not Allowed: Any centerfire rifle, any pistol chambered for a centerfile rifle caliber, any magnum caliber, any hollowpoint bullets.
We are a 501c(7) corporation and were incorporated in 1942.
SHOOTING HOURS: Our club is a private club requiring key access only – guests are welcomed but must be accompanied by a member.
Scheduled Shoots are: Pistol and Rifle target and silhouette.
In The News:

The Peninsula Rifle & Pistol Club is a supporter of the Port Angeles High School NJROTC. The State of Washington recently held their Air Rifle championship match in Olympia where shooters from across the state competed in 3 positions in the Prone, Standing, and Kneeling shooting 20 shots in each position. With an additional 40 shots in the offhand. The Port Angeles High School NJROTC, sponsored by the Port Angeles Rifle and Pistol Club, took 1st and 4th place in the Sporter category in the state. Crystal Crouse shot a 671 taking 1st place and David Springob shot a 655 taking 4th place. Both are now qualified to compete in the National match to be held this summer in Alabama.
PORT ANGELES NJROTC WINS REGIONAL DRILL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

The Port Angeles High School NJROTC competed in the Northwest Drill & Rifle Regional Championship at Oak Harbor High School in Oak Harbor against 27 other high schools. Port Angeles took the first place title in Drill Competition. The Physical Fitness team placed 2nd in Division and the Air Rifle Team took the silver medal in the USA Washington State Junior Olympics.
